The Hunger Games, based on a book by Suzanne Collins, tells the story of a teenage girl played by Lawrence who fights to win a death match/television reality show featuring children in a post-apocalyptic world.
It was premiered in the US in March, has already grossed nearly $620 million at the worldwide box office including over $380 million in North America where it is the 13th highest-grossing film of all time.
